5. خلاصه و نتیجه‌گیری‌ها
پاداش در قالب گزینه‌ها به مدیران انگیزه‌ی طرفداری از بازخرید سهام شرکت
را نسبت به پرداخت سود سهام می‌دهد چون گزینه‌های اجرایی به ندرت «سود سهام
محافظت شده» هستند و بازخرید، ارزش سهام را افزایش می‌دهد. از سوی دیگر،
مالکیت سهام به مدیران اجرایی انگیزه‌ی طرفداری از پرداخت سود سهام شرکت را
نسبت به بازخرید، به دلیل کاهش در هزینه‌ی سودهای سهام پس از تصویب قانون
مصالحه‌ی کاهش مالیاتی رشد و شغل‌ها و به دلایل نقدینگی، می‌دهد. همچنین
چون ارزش دارایی‌های گزینه و سهامداری بستگی به عملکرد سهام شرکت دارد،
مدیران اجرایی دارای محرک‌های قوی‌تری برای بهره‌برداری از درامدهای رو به
بالا هنگامی که جبرا نسبت به ارزش سهام شرکت آن‌ها حساس‌تر است هستند. و
مدیران اجرایی دارای انگیزه‌ای برای بهره‌برداری از درامدها برای به حداکثر
رساندن پاداش مزایا هستند.
